Henann Lagoon Resort is a 4-star resort located in Station 2 of the famous Boracay Island. It offers 222 rooms, each elegantly decorated with Asian and Modern design fusion. Each room has its own spacious balcony where guests can enjoy the surrounding views. But what separates the Lagoon resort from the other Henann resorts is its massive lagoon-type swimming pool. This 1200m2pool is the focal feature of the resort and is the largest swimming pool in the entire island.
The resort is located along the main road but still close enough to the beach. It’ll only take you 5 minutes walk or less to reach it. There is a gym and fitness center for health conscious guests, a café by the poolside which serves international cuisines, a business center, 24 hour security and power generator and a convenience store which is open 24 hours. As part of the Henann Resorts chain, guests of Henann Lagoon can enjoy VIP treatment specially dedicated to the resorts’ guests.
World-class service coupled with Filipino hospitality is their trademark. The staffs are very courteous and there is always a smile on their face whenever they greet the guests. They are always happy to serve. Personally, the service here is better than other Henann resorts on the island.
The resort is always kept meticulously clean on a daily basis. The rooms and balconies are cleaned very thoroughly daily and toiletries are always replenished.
The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. However, the open-plan bathroom design may not be ideal for conservative guests who like privacy. Good thing there is a roller blind which can be manually operated.
The Resort is not beachfront. Contrary to what it says on advertisements, it is a bit farther from the beach compared to other Henann resorts. There is a shuttle every 5 minutes that takes the guests to the beach though. The large lagoon shaped swimming pool is without a doubt the best in Boracay.
The resort is along the main road. For guests who look forward to getting ocean views, this is not the resort for you. That said, it makes up for it by being very accessible and still situated at a central location.
Some guests would be happy to pay more or for the same price for a beach-front accommodation. If you like the beach, then it might be better to book elsewhere although Henann Lagoon is not that far from it.
There is one thing though that Henann Lagoon guests can enjoy exclusively. The Henann Lounge is accessible to the guests in premier and grand rooms and suites with pool access. Here, guests are served with unlimited snacks, coffee, tea and cocktails. And just like your typical beach paradise villa, Henann Lagoon also offers suites with their own private plunge pool so guests can enjoy ultimate privacy and enjoyment.
The unmatched feature, the pool, can be viewed from all the rooms. There is also a swim-up bar located at the center of the lagoon where guests can enjoy refreshing drinks without leaving the pool. This feature alone is enough to win over guests who would otherwise prefer the quiet side than the ever-crowded beachfront. As with all Henann resorts, you will also enjoy a private pickup and drop off from Caticlan – making the transfers faster and also contributing to your sense of privacy and quietness.
That said, unfortunately Henann doesn’t organize private tours and activities. You will always have to go with other Henann guests and often, it doesn’t make your experience worthwhile. For that reason, we suggest booking the tours with us so you can enjoy exclusive tours for reasonable price without having to worry about time and money.
Henann Lagoon is as popular as the other Henann Resorts however it is not the favorite. In terms of location, guests prefer the Regency because it is located right on the beach where all the activities are. The resort also lacks some of the amenities that Henann Regency offers like the Kai Spa and direct beach access. However, in terms of service and Cleanliness, guests rate Henann Lagoon better than the Regency. Guests believe that staffs of Henann Lagoon are more accommodating and attentive to their needs compared to the staff of its sister resort. Overall, travel sites online rated Henann Lagoon as one of the best resorts in Boracay. Booking.com rated it as 8.6 with 541 reviews. 93 percent of reviewers in Agoda said they will highly recommend it to their friends. And with Expedia, the resort scored 4.3 which is excellent.

The Deluxe is the most basic category, but with 40m2 it’s still much larger than almost any other equivalent in Boracay. The room comes with 1 queen size bed and 1 single, and can fit in 2 adults.
The premier room is the same size as the deluxe, only it has a slightly better location and a nicer design. Here you can also choose to have the room come with a king size bed, and not just 1 queen size and 1 single. There are also premier rooms located directly by the pool, but they cost more.
The Grand room is slightly larger than the Premier, with 45.5m2 of space. The room is good for 2 adults, and an extra bed can be added as well. It comes with either 1 king size bed or 2 singles. As with all other room types, you can pay extra to have your room located directly by the pool.
The Family room has 1 queen sized bed and 3 singles, which means it can easily accommodate up to 5 people. There are 2 seperate bedrooms, as well as a small living area and the total size of the room is 54m2.
There are various types of suites available to guests. The basic suite is 50m2 and doesn’t have direct access to the pool. Then, you also have direct access suites and those with their own plunge pool, which cost more respectively. All suites are designed to accommodate 2 adults with 1 king sized bed, although an extra bed can be added.
