Panja Resort is a 3-star resort with the best views in Puerto Princesa. True to their marketing slogan, only Panja Resort offers unobstructed views of the rolling hills, mountains, forests and the cluster of islands in nearby Honda Bay all in one picturesque panorama. The resort is situated on a hill 9 kilometers away from the city center which is perfect for those who prioritize a peaceful retreat.

Opened in 2016, Panja became popular immediately. The mesmerizing views it offers always win over the hearts of travelers. Although, quite far from Puerto Princesa’s city center, the resort is strategically located close to popular tourist attractions such as the Honda Bay. There is an in-house restaurant that serves international food, a rooftop bar where you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the beautiful surroundings, and the infinity pool where you can just take it all in.
[expert_review] There are 35 rooms in the resort, each with its own spacious balcony where guests can enjoy the views all day long. Each room is equipped with standard amenities such as: En suite shower and bath (for suites), AC, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, LED TV with English channels (there are times when TV signal doesn’t work), mini bar and fridge, safety deposit box, a desk and intercom for room services. There is also complimentary breakfast inclusive in the room rate and free shuttle services to and from the airport. While There is WiFi, unfortunately it’s not working most of the time.

The Horizon restaurant is superbly designed and air-conditioned. There is a huge veranda where guests can sit while having their meal with the mountains as the backdrop. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served with good selection of food. Lunch and dinner however, are a different story. It can be disappointing sometimes knowing that your favorite dish is not available on the menu. There is also no dessert apart from the usual fruit shakes.

The 360 degree rooftop bar is also one of the highlights in staying at Panja Resort. Whatever time of the day, you can just go up here and savor the beauty around you. The bar is well-equipped and they have a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, and fresh juices.
[pros_cons] Panja Resort Palawan offers beautiful views, something a majority of the hotels in Puerto Princesa don’t. Although the resort is far from center and the airport, it offers free transport service for the comfort and convenience of the guests.

The Resort is perfect for nature lovers. We do not recommend it to people who are allergic to bugs and insects. The place may also be a bit rough for the elderly and the PWD as it is uphill but the views are great for everyone especially for the kids.

Panja Resort Palawan also offers different tours to popular tourist spots for a fair price and we can coordinate that for you to ensure that everything will be in order. Overall, the resort is a great place for relaxation. Once you set your priorities right and when nature is your top priority, then this is simply the best place for you.
